Well I guess everyone is a newb at some point in their life. I'm not a newb to the board owner, in fact he's used to taking orders from me, not the other way around. Well anyway, I wanted to have a quirky name so I registered as Balto's Claws--isn't that weird? Wolves have claws...dogs sort of do....it fits! He needed those claws/nails/grippers to get through the snowstorms in real life! It works! Known Balto since it came out on VHS in the 90s. Not a fan of the 2nd film. Actually don't mind the 3rd one at all since part if it is based in reality as Alaska did eventually modernize some major transportation systems and sled dog teams were not used as often. This did happen around the time that Balto was indeed alive, so it wasn't that far off of reality in that sense. I'll ignore the fact the real Balto couldn't have pups for now! Every now and then I probably will post goofy pictures of my fursona just for laughs or to express emotion so if you see this guy below running around, that's me too!

Welcome! Yes, I am used to taking orders from you, being a new mod on a forum where you’re the owner. Now I guess it’s time to turn the tables I actually never saw Balto until a little under a year ago (around when I joined your board), and I’ve actually yet to see Wings of Change! I am not kidding. As for Wolf Quest, I really liked it, but I do understand why people don’t like it (from what I’ve seen, you’re far from the only one who doesn’t like Wolf Quest).

Wings of Change like I said isn't bad, but you do have to skip a couple of parts of the film, largely anything with Boris' love interest is terrible. Hit the next button on that remote!

hi guys, its Nick From GOF. as for the balto series imo,. the first is the best followed by Wings of Change. Balto II was basically Lion King II, except with ice and snow instead of savannah.

Pretty much. There's a reason Direct To Video films arent highly regarded. Well, several reasons.

Land Before Time fans would understand perfectly. I can attest. The 13th movie is definitely the worst of all of them. It makes Wolf Quest seem like a total masterpiece. I think we all would call LBT 13... a coprolite (anyone who’s seen that movie and knows what a coprolite is would agree)

A lot of the sequels fell in that category, not just #13.

^ Let's just agree to disagree on that. None of the LBT sequels are nearly as good as the first one, but I think the only one that I'd say is bad enough that I'd call it a 'coprolite' is 13. I have a VERY high tolerance for 'bad' movies, and I really enjoyed Wolf Quest, so let's get that out of the way.

My tolerance wanes with the subject matter. Depending on if I can find good films about certain subjects. There is much better wolf stuff out there than Wolf Quest. We can certainly agree to disagree on that one.
