Yeah, I hate the way Universal did their 2D/CGI blend back then. But hey, at least with the Balto series, we only get that crap in two movies, as opposed to a whole bunch of movies in a certain other series...

Yes, I totally get what you mean there. I certainly do not see how it could have been cheaper to use CG water than to just simply draw it back in 2000-2005 when they were doing this with their films.

The improvement in animation is obvious when you notice that Balto's Sclera are yellow again. Something the first scene Balto is in points out to the viewer. I'm glad better care was given to "Balto 3" that it's predecessor received.

^ Agreed. I love Balto’s yellow sclera, and I wasn’t terribly fond of how Universal made them white in Wolf Quest. Accordingly, I’m glad they were made yellow again in Wings of Change.
